Today was the first day of my internship at 102.3 XLC! I got there a little before 11:00 AM. My boss, the Promotions Director, is really really nice as well as another person I met who works there, the Promotions Assistant. I got introduced to a couple of other people who work around the studio, and am sure I will be meeting more!
Easing into the internship, today I addressed and stuffed envelopes, assembled prizes in boxes, etc. I definitely think I am going to learn a lot and have a great experience working for 102.3. I am working Monday's and Wednesdays about 4 hours a day, and then events mostly on weekends. I can't wait to start learning more!
